ECOVIO is promoted by the School of Business, Finance and Tourism of the University of Extremadura. The School has a long track of experience in finance training, both for university students and for the business and commercial sector of Extremadura.
Inmaculada Domínguez Fabián, PhD in Economic and Business Sciences and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Financial Economy and Accountability of University of Extremadura. She is part of the Research Group Pensions and Social Protection Systems of the University of Valencia and leads the Associated Unit in Extremadura of the Polibienestar Institute. She is an expert in public and private pension systems. Among her research lines, it is worth highlighting the study of gender discrimination in pension systems and the gap existing in retirement pensions, as well as studies on economic abuse exerted on women and their children. She is author of several research papers and has contributed to different research projects in the field of social provision at the national and international level.
Beatriz Rosado Cebrián, PhD in Economical and Business Sciences and Lecturer at the Department of Financial Economy and Accountability of University of Extremadura. She is part of the Research Group Public Pensions Systems (University of Extremadura) and the Associated Unit in Extremadura of the Polibienestar Institute. Her research is focused on financial and actuarial analysis of public pension systems, as well as the gender gap existing in the benefits. She has published papers and presented her work at national and international conferences and collaborated in research projects.
Adelaida Ciudad Gómez, Degree in Economic and Business Sciences by University of Seville. PhD in Education Sciences by the University of Extremadura and Full Professor of University School at the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting of the Faculty of Business, Finance and Tourism of the University of Extremadura (Cáceres – Spain). She belongs to the research group “Public Pension System (SEJ025)” of the University of Extremadura and is coordinator of the Teaching Innovation Group “Training and Evaluation by COmpetencies in the field of SOcial SCIences” (FECOCISO) at University of Extremadura. She has collaborated in collective works, published research articles, presented works to national and international congresses and participated in research projects..
Francisco Javier Hierro Hierro holds a PhD on Law and is Professor in the area of Labour Law and Social Security at the University of Extremadura, in which he belongs to the research group Labour and Social Security Law. His research has been focused on different fields of his area of knowledge, occupying a prominent place the subjects related to social protection systems and employment policies of disadvantaged groups. He is the author of numerous collaborations in collective works, research articles and has participated in various national and international research projects.
Borja Encinas Goenechea, PhD in Economic and Business Sciences and professor at the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of Extremadura. He belongs to the Pensions and Social Protection research group of the University of Valencia and the Associated Unit in Extremadura of the Polibienestar Institute, as a researcher in the field of public and private pensions as well as the effect of immigration on the pension system. He has published several informative and research articles and participated in multiple competitive research projects related to the solvency analysis of public pension systems.
